Join in the fun at the 1st Weald Brook Scouts!
We are building our team of volunteers to help run the activities at our Scout Group.
We rely on people like you playing their part to give young people the opportunities they need.
But volunteering’s not just about giving something back. It’s also about doing something that’s good for you.
There are great opportunities for adults in Scouts. Volunteering is fun, it improves your wellbeing, gives you career-boosting skills and helps you make connections with friends, family and your local community. You'll have the chance to try new things, develop existing interests and have fun while inspiring the young people.
Everyone has something to offer Scouting, whatever their age or ability. Whether you are in the thick of activities with a group of young people or working behind the scenes in a trustee or support role, there are lots of ways to get involved. You can do this weekly, biweekly, once a month etc. or as it suits you.
At 1st Weald Brook we have 3 sections and we are looking for volunteers to help out at any of the evenings:
- Beavers (ages 6-8 years) Thursday evenings
- Cubs (ages 8-10.5 years) Tuesday evenings
- Scouts (ages 10.5-14 years) Wednesday evenings
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts enjoy cooking, building, playing, exploring and you can join in the fun too!
There's never been a better time to get involved and help inspire our members to be awesome adults in the future. So why not help us give young people the skills they need to succeed and find out how Scouts can be just as rewarding for you.
So what are you waiting for? Get in touch to find out about how volunteering can help you.
